Thank you for your interest in our Montessori Preschool! We fondly refer to ourselves as KMCP. Our program is unique to our community, in that we offer a strong academic program through a nurturing, Montessori inspired curriculum and methodology. Furthermore, our emphasis on “positive discipline” gives your child the best first start in life.
Admission Process For New Families:
Step 1: Schedule an appointment with our Director to tour the school.
- Please call the preschool office at 336-993-2379 or email us at: Brittanym@kernersvillemoravian.org to set up your appointment.
- We encourage you to bring your child to this appointment, so our staff is able to meet your child. This tour will be to view our preschool during school hours and to provide you with information about our preschool.
- The Director will explain our school programs, pricing, and policies while giving you a tour of the classrooms and playground.
Step 2: Schedule a trail day.
Your child will join us from 9:00AM-11:00 AM for our work cycle. During this time the Director and Lead Guide will make observations and determine your child’s readiness for our program. We will go over observations with you and give you helpful tips that will make preschool an easy transition for your little one.
Step 3: Submit Procare forms and deposit!
- As soon as you submit your Procare forms and your $125 non-refundable deposit your child’s space is secured.
- Welcome to our preschool community. We are so glad you chose us.
Tuition Information:
- Tuition is paid in 9 equal installments from September to May.
- Tuition is due on the first day of the month. There is a 5-day grace period. After that, you will be charged a $25 late fee. If you are late 2 months in a row, that is grounds for dismissal. However, if there is a family emergency, please let the Director know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
- There is a 10% discount given to Kernersville Moravian Church members and for subsequent children, after the first child has paid the full tuition.
